Rhabillage Association became a member of the Association of Critical Heritage Studies [ACHS] and participated in its Biennial Conferences in Montreal [2016] and London [2020]. ACHS provides an international platform for interdisciplinary exchange on the social, cultural, territorial and economic dimensions of heritage, connecting researchers, practitioners, communities and policymakers.

In 2016, Rhabillage presented RePAD – Rehabilitation, Patrimony, Architecture, Development, positioning its integrated approach to architectural heritage within an international critical-heritage discourse. The presentation generated particular interest in translating specialised heritage discourse into accessible approaches for wider publics.

In 2020, Rhabillage presented EDRAH_Giurgiu – Economic Development in Relation to the Architectural Heritage, introducing a bottom-up, integrative approach to urban analysis and heritage-led development. The strategy combined international expertise with the ambition to develop a replicable model for municipalities facing similar challenges, while creating opportunities for training a new generation of specialists.

Together, the two contributions demonstrate Rhabillage’s engagement in international knowledge exchange, interdisciplinary research, methodological development and the transfer of heritage practice across territorial contexts.
