Published in 2013, the RePAD Guide was developed as a multidisciplinary working tool for the integrated rehabilitation of architectural heritage in Romania. It addressed rehabilitation not only as a matter of conservation, but also as an opportunity for economic development, employment and sustainable urban transformation.

Designed for the general public, investors, heritage professionals and local authorities, the Guide brought together legislative, technical, economic and strategic perspectives in accessible language, providing practical references for responsible interventions on buildings of historical or architectural value and introducing international approaches to heritage-led development.

The publication was conceived as a three-language documentation log in Romanian, English and French, with the languages complementing rather than simply translating one another. Its graphic and editorial structure encouraged readers to discover architectural heritage progressively, moving from awareness and history to technical, strategic and economic considerations.

The RePAD Guide transformed accumulated research and practice into an accessible knowledge resource connecting heritage rehabilitation, sustainable development, investment and public policy. It was a finalist in the non-fiction category of The Most Beautiful Books competition and in the graphic design category of Good for Print Gala.
