Part of the programme ‘The Attractive Romania’, the Marble Village [Satul de Marmură] project involved the restoration of eight traditional households in the villages of Alun and Bunila, within the cultural landscape of ‘Ținutul Pădurenilor’. The project aimed not only to restore valuable examples of vernacular architecture, but also to support a cultural and tourism offer rooted in the area’s built heritage, traditional materials, techniques and local knowledge.
Rhabillage led the project’s strategic communication, accompanying the intervention throughout its implementation.
The work included developing and coordinating the communication plan, translating technical and heritage information into accessible public content, coordinating photographic and audiovisual documentation, and developing the project’s visual communication materials, from digital and printed media to information panels.
The collaboration connected the technical process of restoration with the wider promotion and valorisation of rural heritage, helping communicate the significance of the individual houses as part of a distinctive cultural landscape and emerging territorial offer.
